Cookies Policy
This page lists everything our website (sunsigil.dev), the SunSigil account (account.sunsigil.dev) and the browser version of Elunor (elunor.sunsigil.dev) keep on your device, and why. In short: one cookie keeps you signed in to your SunSigil account, one remembers your cookie choice, and your light or dark theme is remembered only if you allow it. We use nothing for advertising, analytics or tracking across sites.
1. Strictly necessary
These make the service you asked for work, so they need no consent and are always on.

These are written only after you choose "Accept all", or turn Preferences on under "Cookie settings", and then press the sun / moon button. If you choose "Reject", the button still switches the theme on the page you are on, and nothing is kept; theme choices kept before are deleted.
3. What the browser version of the game keeps
The game in your browser (elunor.sunsigil.dev) runs from our game server and keeps, under that address, only what it needs to run and the settings you choose in it. These are strictly necessary for the game you asked for to run and to remember its own settings (including lbDark, whether its loading pages use the dark theme, which the game keeps itself and is separate from the website's theme choice above), so they need no consent:

4. No third parties
Our pages load no third-party scripts, fonts, images or analytics, so no other company can set cookies or learn of your visit through them. The pages of sunsigil.dev ask account.sunsigil.dev, our own server, whether you are signed in, so the header can show "Account". If you choose to sign in with Google, Microsoft, Discord, Steam, Twitch or Facebook, you leave our site for theirs, and their own cookie rules apply there.
5. Your choice
The first time you visit, a notice at the bottom of the page asks you to choose: "Accept all", "Reject", or "Settings" to decide each kind yourself. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and nothing optional is kept until you accept. You can change your mind at any time from "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page of sunsigil.dev and account.sunsigil.dev. Strictly necessary items need no consent under the EU ePrivacy Directive (and the national laws that apply it) and the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.
6. Removing it
You can remove all of this at any time in your browser's settings (site data for sunsigil.dev, account.sunsigil.dev and elunor.sunsigil.dev); removing the sign-in cookie signs you out of your SunSigil account, and removing the cookie choice brings the notice back. The game then starts as a new device: sign in from its account menu to get your character back.
